JOIN THE MOVEMENT, VOLUNTEER NOW!!  Volunteering for The Urban League of Greater Richmond provides an opportunity to work with other Urban Leaguers and make an impact on the community. Volunteers enjoy a high level of satisfaction as they interact with all levels of urban society.

We have some rewarding volunteer opportunities. Please take some time to review the opportunities listed below and contact the appropriate program coordinator if interested. 
Special Event & Membership Volunteers
Special Events Volunteers - varies depending on event. Assignments include registration, greeters, set-up, break- down, callers, etc. At least ten (10) volunteers are needed for events including Annual Community Celebration (March), Membership Drives (Ongoing) and Annual EEO Symposium (November).
Fundraising Event Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating fundraising events, including planning menus, booking musicians, putting up decorations, ordering flowers, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. 

We are seeking interns/volunteers to greet and welcome clients and to provide additional administrative support for the Urban League Richmond Office. The receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, therefore, must be courteous and professional to all callers and be friendly and welcoming to clients and visitors.
Phone Bank Representatives
Volunteer and Membership (VM) Coordinator. This person will be responsible for building organizational infrastructure for volunteer and membership support, improving member services, and managing volunteer and membership programs.
